The Spokane String Quartet closes its season with works by Native American composers and others who drew their inspiration from the music of the American West. In addition to works by young Chickasaw composers, the program includes a piece by Charles Griffes based in part on “The Farewell Song of the Chippewa Indians” and Dvorak’s “American Quartet.”
